Biography
Associate Professor Kriengsak Panuwatwanich, Ph.D. currently serves as the Director of Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT) at Thammasat University, where he is a faculty member in the Department of Civil Engineering and Technology and is presently under consideration for a full Professorship. His academic background includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from SIIT, a Master of Engineering Science from The University of New South Wales, and a Doctor of Philosophy from Griffith University in Australia. Prior to his recent leadership roles at SIIT—which encompass serving as the Head of the Civil Engineering and Technology Department and Deputy Director for Admissions and Public Relations—Dr. Panuwatwanich built an extensive academic career in Australia as a Researcher, Senior Lecturer, and Program Director for Civil Engineering at Griffith University between 2008 and 2017. His scholarly contributions are demonstrated by a robust portfolio of recent peer-reviewed publications focusing on contemporary engineering management challenges, including construction waste management, the integration of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and virtual/augmented reality in design and facility management, sustainable green building assessments, and public procurement practices.
